“yoga is about Life.” — T. Krishnamacharya

Toni is a yoga instructor in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Her group classes include, Hatha, Vinyasa, and Older Adult Yoga classes

Her background is in Early Childhood Education. She is currently furthering her studies at University of Toronto.

After discovering yoga and developing her own practice, Toni found yoga to be a deeply healing discipline and wanted to share this healing with others in need. As a result she spent a year developing a program to satisfy the needs of children in high risk populations.

Years later, she expanded this program to include adults experiencing difficulty managing pain, physical or psychic. The combination of breath, meditation, mindfulness and a touch of play, in combination with a health care team such a physiotherapist, physican or therapist, can have an impact in restoring self control and bringing healing to an otherwise challenging situation.

Toni spent several months in India studying at Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandarim, learing more about applying yoga to the individual. She has also attended several workshops in Canada with KYM.
She is currently beginning work at OISE in Community Development and Peacemaking focused on Pain Management and the Mind & Body Connection.
She continues to practice and study yoga in the GTA in order to continue growing as a teacher and as an individual.

Toni teaches many classes in Toronto, she is also available for private instruction for both one and one and group sessions. She believes that yoga can provide the framework for an inspired life.
